All about Angela . . .

Angela Ford works for Public Education and lives in Ontario, Canada with her two children. Being a mom has always filled her home with teenagers – her social network mentors. Angela is passionate about education. She has been dedicated and involved with cyber safety seminars. Her community involvement has given her an Award of Distinction. The quiet moments she does find allows her to plot to intrigue her readers. She is a member of the RWA and an avid reader of Romance.

1. What makes you feel inspired to write?

I love books. I love to read. I love to write. My mind never stops…characters, plots and settings are constant in my thoughts. I love to create a story that will pull you in and build characters to fall in love with.

2. How did you come with the idea for your current story?

Closure is about an elite FBI Internet Security Task Force tracking a serial Internet Predator. My years of dedicated volunteering with the schools gave me the idea for Closure. Our School Council held cyber safety seminars with our local police to help educate parents on Internet Safety for their children.

3. What is your favorite scene in the book? Why? 

My favorite scene in Closure is when Jessica opens the door to a man she thought was dead. I love to create twists and turns to keep my readers intrigued. I want my readers to have questions and continue to turn the page. I write the way I enjoy a good suspense. I love trying to solve the mystery and put the pieces of the puzzle together. Of course, there’s nothing better than adding a dash of romance and a happily-ever-after.

4. What is in your To Read Pile that you are dying to start or upcoming release you can’t wait for?

Danielle Steele’s First Sight and Allison Brennan’s Stalked…among many others on my Goodreads list and my fellow authors at Books to Go Now.

5. How do you spend your free time? Do you have a favorite place to go and unwind?

When I’m not working, reading, writing…I’m with my kids. I follow my son’s band “A Divine Silence” or I’m off to the beach or the mall with my daughter. My most favorite place to go and unwind is the beach…and there you will find me with a book. 🙂

6. What do you have in store next for your readers?

My next book Unforgettable Kiss is with my publisher, Books to Go Now. I’m starting a new blog called Beach Book Blog…will continue to post updates along the way…

7. What is the best piece of advice you would give to someone that wants to get into writing? 

Perseverance…and write from your heart 🙂
